Rod Lees

Greetings from Oklahoma! 

I'm Rod Lees, an artist member with the American Society of Aviation Artists (ASAA)... I appreciate your visiting the site!

My background is Military Aviation; I have had my works recognized by ASAA consistently during annual forums, first with two Founder's Recognition Awards; "Taegu Defenders" at the Kalamazoo Michigan Forum in 2017, and later at the Palm Springs California forum in 2018 with "Fisher MOA" . 

More recent awards include the Savannah  GA Forum in 2022 with" Poking the Northern Bear at 80,000 feet", which was recognized as First place in the Military and Space category, and most recently my painting of B-52G's,  "Wakeup Call, Desert Storm Begins", which received the ASAA  "Award of Distinction" at the 2023 Pima Air and Space Museum forum at Tucson, Arizona.
